Utah....here we come! (HELp please)

Adam just got offered a great job in Utah working for the state in the Observation and Assessment center for Juvenile's as a counselor in Salt Lake City. We are super excited and proud of Adam! Only problem is we have not found a place to live and Adam is starting on the 8th of September - so all you Utah bloggers I am asking a HUGE favor....if you know of any 2 bedroom apartments at a reasonable price in the salt lake area (Provo to Ogden) let me know. I haven't had much luck on-line. Thanks and we can't wait to be a bit closer to some of our family and are sad to be leaving Adam's family but are so optimistic about this new adventure for our little family!

Celebrate Youth Festival

In Rexburg they throw a huge community party the day before school starts for the whole city...it is so much fun and everything is free:) They had a fish pond, ping-pong toss, face painting, cotton candy, climbing wall, etc. This is Gabe playing life-sized operation - he successfully got the 'adam's apple' (with a little help from mommy)
This is Gabe and daddy choosing the free books for the boys - all children receive a free book, Gabe got 'Big Brother, Little Brother' and Kent got a collection of Aesop's Fables.
This is the fam enjoying free dinner and entertainment
The national gaurd landed a HUGE army helicopeter in the middle of the park and let all the kids sit in it and get pictures - Gabe was so excited!
Rexburg just got a new fire truck and they were showing it off at the park - Gabe LOVED playing in the water it sprays!

Smiles (kinda) and Cows:)

I can't believe how much little Kent has changed in the short 7.5 weeks he has been here...but I swear he gets cuter every day!
Okay....our camera has about a 15 second delay so just imagine that 15 seconds before this photo was taken Kent was smiling a big cheesy grin!
Gabe feeding the cows at the Madison County Fair
Gabe and mommy with the prize chickens - Gabe had such a good time, he was literally running to each new animal and petting them all until the goat started ramming the fence:)
I love Idaho - they give you free potatoes at the county fair with all the fixin's - we had so much fun - Kent also thoroughly enjoyed the fair (ie: sleeping in his stroller).

Blessing Day

We feel so blessed that Kent is a part of our family. He is such a sweet baby and brings such joy to our lives. It was a GREAT day and we are so lucky to have such amazing boys!

our adorable boys!

Sorry - I can't figure out how to rotate this photo....but this is our little 'chunky monkey'!
Since Kent has lots of hair I have tried many new hair styles to no avail - his hair stands straight up so for now I guess he will just have to live with a faux-hawk or his poor hair ends up looking like this:)
The park across the street from our house has a carousel and a splash park - this is a picture of Gabe riding his valiant stallion on the carousel!
This is Gabe at his first primary activity - they were having a race...Gabe had lots of fun!
