My parents spoiled us with a stay at their time share in Vail, Colorado - we had SOOOO much fun - it was so beautiful there! Here we are visiting our colorado cousins - so much fun!

I did NOT kill my garden this year - this is a FIRST:) Here are some of the fruits of my labor - red leaf lettuce (we get about 1 grocery sack full every week - anyone need lettuce)

Sugar baby watermelons we have 6 that are just about ready - can't wait!

These are the teddybear sunflowers we planted - I think they are super cool looking and really hard to kill:)

Our little flower bed - still alive...this is amazing for me-hooray to plants that need very little attention!

We also have green peppers coming out of our ears - we have given alot away. This is just one weeks worth and they just keep coming - any takers?

Gabe started school July 26th (year round). He LOVES it!

Staycation

Adam is in the police academy right now so he works 40 hours a week and has school 20 hours a week so we really didn't have time to go anywhere for vacation so we planned a staycation over the 4th of July weekend- we enjoyed Layton City fireworks on the 4th.

Cherry hill - this was the highlight - so fun! The boys could live there I think...Gabe loved the dragon waterslide the best and Kent loved the lazy river....such a great time

The party was so much fun complete with bat cave, Mr. Freeze scavanger hunt, and breaking boards (styrofoam) with our super hero kicks:) Gabe and Kent had so much fun with their friends and cousins and I loved having to just plan one party (I am lazy)!

On Gabe's actual birthday we went up to Grandma/pa B's to celebrate and go swimming - we had a great time!

So - I officially suck at staying caught up on this! Gabe turned 5 on July 11th. Gabe is such a sweet boy. He is such a peacemaker in our house and has a tender little heart. He is so kind to his brother (most of the time) and plays with him all the time. He is such a great kid and we are SO SO SO blessed to have him in our family!

Our sweet Grandma B. Passed away on June 22nd {Kent's Birthday}. It was sad for us but so happy for her - she is with Grandpa now! She was the BEST grandma in the world and I have been flooded with so many amazing memories {dipping chocolates, fishing trips, card games, cookies, her hugs and kisses, homemade gifts, etc}. She sacrificed so much for her family and made us all feel loved and cared for! She is such a great example to me of how I want to live my life and the type of woman I want to be....we will miss you so much and we love you! Some of Grandma B's 52 (and counting) great grandkids!

Kent turned THREE....holy crap - my baby is 3! Kent is such a sweet kid and makes us all laugh. He gives the BEST hugs and loves to snuggle. He loves to wrestle and play with his brother and our family would not be complete without him! For his birthday we just had a little celebration Gabe and Kent are having their big combined birthday party next week. Here he is with Gabe on the present Gabe gave him. Love you Kenter beans!

So...I turned THIRTY! I was feeling very sad about this but then something amazing happened - I had a FABULOUS birthday! On friday my friends threw me a surprise get together (thanks Nichol) sorry no photos - but it was so great to see everyone again! Then on Saturday my family threw me a surprise party - I had NOOOO idea...so fun this is a pictionary game they played all the things to draw were all about me - so funny:) This is my nephew Matthew drawing - he rocked at the game:)

Thought we better document this - Adam and I actually went on a date while we were in Idaho - we hadn't been on one since 8/10 - so I suppose it was about time. Our schedules are a bit crazy with Adam working FT and going to police academy and I work PT. Anyway, it was super fun to spend some time with each other....thanks Nana and Papa for watching boys!

The main reason for our visit to Adam's family was to celebrate his Dad's retirement...we had a lot of fun!

Almost finished....still need to pull a bunch of weeds from around planter boxes....but almost there:)Found this beauty amongst a sea of weedsI felt a HUGE sense of accomplishment when I pulled this guy out - holy long root batman!

This is just one of two and a half loads of weeds I pulled! Yard work is taken care of under our lease agreement but I think some people may have a different idea of yard work then others:) Hence, my latest obsession....

I made Gabe and Kent block puzzles using 1.5 inch blocks from Hobby Lobby and 6 pictures of their favorite things (batman, tigers, Curious George, puppies, and a picture of each of them). Then I found these cool box things at Honks and went on $0.88 day - so this ended up being an easy and cheap craft - those are the kinds I LOVE!

This little project is 7 pieces of felt the boys can rearrange any way they would like for their little cars. 2 more left to make but after 8 hours of work - I decided to call it a night:) Some of these are REALLY special but hey it's from the heart!

So this year (with some inspiration from my neighbor and the use of her garage and husband to cut wood for me:) I am trying to make everything for Christmas this year for my kiddos:) Here is the puppet theatre I built from an old headboard (found idea here infarrantlycreative.net) ....I sewed the bag things on the back too and made all the puppets (all 13 of them:) This theatre is FAR from perfect but I think the kids will like it (hopefully) This has been so fun - many posts to follow I've got alot of projects in the making!

So - I finally got all the winter stuff organized and in the boys' closet and found some AWESOME costumes I forgot about (thanks mom, she got them for us) - they had so much fun dressing up!

Something frightening is happening to me - I have been overtaken by someone who LOVES to craft!

Here are a few of my latest projects......... This is an AWESOME desk my mother-in-law gave us when we moved to Utah 2 years ago that was in desperate need of a paint job - so I initially painted it black but the paint never set and stayed super tacky - so I stripped it, sanded it, and painted it a funky color and then stained it - I even filled the original hardware holes and drilled new ones and replace it with some new fun hardware....Adam is not a fan of the color but I was SOOOOO sick of everything being black - so here it is after only 28 HOURS of hard labor:) wish I had a before pic - sorry!

This beauty I found on the side of the road in good old Rexburg and we have had it since Gabe was 1 (so 3 years) - it had a lovely laminate finish from the 70's and I finally got around to painting it - this baby only took like 3 hours to complete - my kind of project:)

Okay so enough about my new hobby - here are my DARLING boys!

My parents held an awesome family reunion up in Park City at their time share - it was AWESOME! The weather was absolutely beautiful! We lived at the pool - here are the boys with their cousins and aunt Camie chillin poolside with some Popsicles:)

Ten GREAT things about our sweet little Gabe!

1) He LOVES to wrestle with his little brother and doesn't mind (most the time) that Kent follows him everywhere!

2) He absolutely loves his sunbeams class that he started this year and Brother Carlson (his teacher) is his favorite person in the whole world!

3) Has a funny little sense of humor and likes to do pranks (ie: hiding things down his shirt that I am searching for - bringing me his dads shoes to put on him in the morning:)

4) Is such a social butterfly and makes friends very easily.

5) Hates to get his sandals wet - so funny, if there is a wet patch of sidewalk he makes us carry him:)

6) Always introduces himself as "gabers and gabe"...so funny his nickname is gabers so he thinks he has 2 names:)

7) Such a good little hiker - we go a lot and he loves it...he is a trooper and usually walks the whole way!

8) Such a snuggle bug - he gets very cold when he sleeps and when he wakes up in the morning he crawls in bed with me and loves to snuggle up to get warm

9) Our notoriously picky eater is branching out a bit - he has tried a meatball, cheese burger, baked potato, and broccoli - yeah!

10) Gabe is such a sweet little boy and tries so hard to make his mom and dad happy - we are SOOOOOOO lucky to have him as our son!

Idaho/ Zoo/ Art Fest

We visited Idaho for the 4th and Nana and Papa threw Gabe a mini Birthday party - so Fun!
On the 3rd we went canoeing near Island park at a place called Big Springs it was about a 2 hour float and we had a GREAT time! Here is some of the wildlife we encountered ( a MOOSE!)

Our baby has turned 2!

Here is our top ten list of things that have happened with Kent this year:

1) Learned to walk...then run...then get into EVERYTHING:) He is super busy but always still so happy!

2) Started Nursery - a bit nervous at first but now he loves it!

3) Started talking - can say about 20 words now (thanks to the tubes in his ears he can finally hear)....his all time favorite words are water and bubbles:)

4) Learned how to give kisses and loves to kiss everything - books, food, mom, dad, Gabe, the neighbor's cat, everything!

5) No more crib, Kent now sleeps in a big boy bed (although he usually ends up in our bed anyway...working on that:)

6) Learned how to color and LOVES it - he will color anything including walls, floor, table, etc - our little artist!

7) Kent is all smiles and has been since birth, we are SOOOO lucky to be blessed to have him as a part of our family...his smiles have stuck around this year and we look forward to many more:)
8) Learned to feed himself and is pretty handy with fork and spoon! He is a good little eater (most of the time)!

9) Gives the worlds BEST hugs - if you don't believe me just ask for one...I promise it will make your whole day better!

10) He is our little peace maker - although he is super busy he notices if you are sad or upset and will bring you a toy and a hug to make you happy:)

Kent is such a sweet boy - we are so incredibly blessed to have him in our family! Happy second birthday Kent!

PS - we had a super fun tonka birthday party tonight but I left my camera in my parents car - I will post pics of the party as soon as I get my camera back:)

Hiking Beus Canyon (in Ogden)....it was breath taking and SOOOO green!
Up in Park City at my parent's time share - Grandpa and Kent decided to take a little snooze!

SOOOOOO excited to go swimming - Gabe asks me almost everyday when we are going to Park City to swim - we were up there about three weeks ago - they LOVED it!

We planted a small garden in the back yard - Gabe and Kent got to pick whatever seeds they wanted so we have: sunflowers, leeks, broccoli, watermelon, corn, beans, and tomatoes - it should be interesting??? We also got a strawberry Topsy Turvy and have already enjoyed a few yummy berries - yeah!

This Saturday we all went to Gardner Village and the Conservation Garden Park - Even though I am completely out numbered as far as being a girl.... my boys aren't afraid to do some girly stuff now and then:) My little Kenter Beans - This photo was taken today after we got back from spending 3 hours at the park = running, throwing sand, finding various pieces of garbage (treasures). I sat the boys on the couch to watch Curious George while I made dinner...this is Kent literally 4 minutes later:) Kent is such a joy - he is so friendly and melts my little heart with his big brown puppy dog eyes and his hugs and kisses which he will give to ANYONE!

My Gaber Babers - This is not such a great picture but this describes Gabe perfectly - he LOVES all living creatures and wants to know all about them. He is holding a baby turtle in this photo at Baby Animal Days up in Logan. Gabe is so creative and loving, he loves to tell stories, read books, catch bugs, etc but he also loves to snuggle and always tells me he loves me (without being told). He is so kind and loving and I love him to pieces!

So...it has been awhile - these are in no particular order (because I still can't figure out how to make them in the right order:). This first one is Daddy and Kent (Gabe was busy in the play land) at our new favorite hangout - Chick-fil-a in Riverdale. They do family night every Wednesday and we had to check it out ....lots of fun!
Gabe looking super cute at Hardware Ranch (with cousin bff nina in the background). G&G Bartholomew started doing monthly activities with all the grandkids. For Feb we went on a sleigh ride at Hardware Ranch and saw about 100 head of Elk. We also went to an awesome used bookstore and to McDonalds for lunch...we had so much fun!

I know I just posted but I just couldn't resist. This first picture is of Gabe with his ALL TIME FAVORITE TOY EVER!!!! of all the things he got for Christmas (including a kid friendly digital camera, huge tonka front loader, etc, etc) this is what Gabe cannot live without a silly Ikea hammering toy...he will not leave the house without it and plays with it for hours - literally:) Best part is it cost $5!

Sorry, these are totally out of order....here are the boys opening presents with grandma and grandpa on Christmas eve...the boys and I went up there for Christmas eve dinner (Adam was at work). Gabe and I went to Lowe's 'build and grow' activity on Saturday and Gabe made a cute little gingerbread house that opens and closes - I was a little leery to wrangle both hammer wielding boys alone so Kent stayed home with daddy and Lowe's let us take a gingerbread set home for him too!
Gabe was so awesome at hammering - he had so much fun...after Lowe's we actually went to Home Depot and did their 'Kid's Workshop' and Gabe built an awesome flag holder....a carpenter in the making:)

Okay - my mom and dad got me this CD for Christmas and I am totally addicted and I highly recommended it to everyone...my boys and I listen to it pretty much all day long! Thanks mom and dad!

The boys had their 6 month check up and GREAT news - no cavities, no broken teeth and no extra teeth (all of which we have experienced in the past with Gabe!)

Closed eyes but a beautiful tree and beautiful boys - the boys had so much fun taking off all the ornaments as soon as I turned my back...little stinkers:)

Helping decorate the tree (last week).....we are all SOOOOOO excited for Christmas this year...Gabe was asking for Santa to bring him a pumpkin for the longest time (last year all he would ask for was socks) but now he wants a helicopter, truck, and airplane. Kent I think would prefer playing in the Tupperware drawer to anything in the whole world...so who knows Santa might bring him a big box of Tupperware:)

The best Thanksgiving EVER!

So...This has been my favorite Thanksgiving EVER, hands down! The first pic is of our second annual Thanksgiving eve tradition - Since we have been married Adam has never had a Thanksgiving off so we have started to celebrate it the night before with Adam. I made an entire Thanksgiving meal (not even close to as good as my parents but it is only my second attempt:) and we invited over our neighbors...we had a great time and Adam got a real homecooked Thanksgiving (he got jail food on thanksgiving - poor guy!)

For Thanksgiving the boys and I went to my parents house and had a delicious meal with all my siblings and their families, my grandparents, my parents, and my uncle Mike and aunt Penny. We had such a great time eating and playing some fun games my mom planned. Here are the boys with Grandma and Grandpa and their cousins Katie and Erica (whose family surprised everyone and drove up from Colorado just in time) - This is the first year all the Bartholomew kids have had Thanksgiving together for like 8 years! What a great GREAT surprise.

Me and my sis camie spent the night at my mom and dad's with our kids and got up at 3:15 in the morning to hit the sales with our mom (My mom is the ultimate deal finder!)- SOOOO fun, I am now done Christmas shopping except a few odds and ends!

So...lately I have been feeling super guilty because when Kent takes a nap - I tell Gabe it is quiet time (which basically means watch cartoons and leave me alone for a minute). So I have decided to make Kent's nap time a time when Gabe and I can do something that Kent would try to eat or otherwise destroy with his curiosity if he were awake:) So here is our first attempt yesterday...this is super easy just crush up leaves (the ones we used weren't all the way crispy so I actually microwaved them for 30 sec) and draw a design on paper with glue and then sprinkle leaves and tada! Okay this is just ridiculous but since I made the purse I had some scraps left over and thought 'lets make snakes for our nap craft' - Gabe had fun but he is a sweetie....they turned out a bit ...oh how should I put it - weird! Oh well Gabe had fun stuffing them and then when Kent woke up they had fun chasing and hitting each other with them:)

Notice the fine craftsmanship of the snakes (ie the huge white stitch marks from where I accidentally cut through the snake while cutting some threads)....I think my crafting day are over - Gabe will probably be relieved he can just watch cartoons and not have to put up with his mother's amazing crafting skills!

A day at the park!

The weather has been so stinking nice the past week so we have literally gone to the park everyday - the boys are in heaven!
The other day Kent was taking a nap so Gabe and I decided to go on a special hike just the two of us while Adam stayed home with Kent....When we got there Gabe was so worried about where Kent was the entire time and asked if Kent could please come with us next time...He is truly the best big brother in the whole world - he is such a sweet kid! I didn't get pics on the hike but Gabe had a great time throwing rocks in the water his ALL time favorite activity!

Kent LOVES to push Gabe in the stroller....he thinks he is hilarious and will just laugh at himself the whole time!

Sorry, I always end up posting pictures in the wrong order :) This is after we are done...Kent happened to get his little paws on a now and later (which for the record completely turned his hands red and they are still red after his bath - who knew:)

Trunk or treat at our church parking lot .... SO much fun and our ward did it at 4 - 6 so we were done early - smart thinking!

Our decorated trunk the boys helped color and glue the spiders - they had so much fun! I am not sure what Gabe is doing with his hands and neither of my boys would wear their hats - Kent was a dog and gabe was a fire fighter but it is kinda hard to tell without the hats.

We had a great Halloween and Gabe was such a sweet big brother always making sure Kent got a candy too...what a great day and it was actually kind of warm too...perfect!

We FINALLY got a computer - I am so excited! I have been going through serious withdrawals - we have been computerless for over 12 months...but no longer - thanks to Adam's sweet christmas/birthday present to me:) So here is just a SMALL sampling of the pictures I want to share:) This first one is Gabe and Kent standing by the hay slide at the black forest farms that grandma and grandpa took them to - both actually were brave enough to go down this massive slide!

And here is a little update:

Kent - Is EXTREMELY mobile and would much rather run than walk - he can climb up anything (so we have had to do some creative rearranging of furniture because he can get up and not down so he would end up on the kitchen table crying to get down about every 10 mins - so now the chairs are stored upside down:) He can say 'no', 'duck', 'ma', and 'da'! He loves to wrestle and jumps on anyone who is laying down. He loves to snuggle and will hug your leg until you pick him up and then wraps his arms around your neck...so stinking cute! He adores Gabe and follows him around all day.

Gabe - Such a smartie! He is such a sweetheart and has started saying 'I love you' and 'I miss you' all the time -without being bribed:) He loves going to the park and rides his little tricycle the entire way there. He loves nursery! He loves rollie pollie bugs and yesterday found a creative place to store them - up his nose! I thought we were going to have to go to the doctor but with some REALLY hard blowing it finally came out:) He gives the best hugs and is such an awesome helper with Kent.

Adam- is still working for Weber County Jail and is going to school full time also at Weber State so we rarely get to see him...he is so good to spend time with us whenever he can though.

Angela - No news...just trying to keep up with two very busy boys:)

Okay - I officially suck! We have internet now but our computer crashed so we are saving up our pocket change to purchase a new one (it was about time the one we have is nearly 10 years old). Anywho here is a brief update for the past three months.
Kent - Kent is now 1 and walking like crazy and LOVES to climb...he still enjoys eating dirt, bugs, basically anything that we say 'no, no' to:) He loves to babble and speaks his own special language - which is adorable but very loud! He loves to wrestle with Gabe and to play in the garbage can...we have recently moved the garbage into a locked cabinet much to Kent's dismay:)
Gabe - Gabe is now 3 and developing the cutest little sense of humor and loves to make everyone laugh. He loves to wrestle with Kent and is super excited to start pre-school this fall. He has learned to say his prayers without any help and lately prays 'please bless grandfather' every night - we are still not sure who exactly grandfather is...but he is getting lots of blessings:) Gabe loves nursery and playing with anyone who will play with him.
Adam - Adam is now working for Weber County as a corrections officer - he loves it! He has also been called to team teach sunday school for the 16 -17 year olds with me...which is super fun! Adam is also working on-call at a juvenile detention center in Syracuse so he is staying very busy.
Ang - Busy being a mom and killing our poor garden:)
We have had a great summer. We have been canoeing and hiking, to several fairs, lots of picnics, a couple birthday parties, and a bunch of family gatherings. Hope all of you are doing well and someday we will post some more pictures of our fam! In the meantime just know that I am the luckiest gal because I live with the 3 cutest guys in the whole world:)

Here is Kent and I hiking the 'indian trail' up Ogden Canyon...it was beautiful but I seriously thought I was going to die - I am SUPER out of shape:) We had so much fun though!

Adam and Gabe sitting on bridge crossing the river (not sure which one). While we were hiking we saw a beautiful monarch butterfly and I said "Gabe, isn't that butterfly pretty" and he said "no, butterflies make me sick"... He is such a crack up - he is taking like crazy too:)

We got Adam's entire fam-damily together while we were up in Idaho (minus his oldest sister's family who lives in twin falls) together for dinner at Bajio's...we had such a great time!

The boys and I are planting a garden this year - Adam usually does it but since he is super busy with work I thought I would give it a try...I will keep you posted on it's progress. So far our peas, lettuce, and carrots have sprouted -- SCORE! Also, I have discovered Kent LOVES to eat dirt more than almost anything else and Gabe is the official waterer:)

This is Gabe being Gabe - he is 100% boy and only holds still while sound asleep. He is such a sweetheart but keeps us all very busy!

Yes we are still alive - we actually go internet but then our computer crashed....so here I am again at the library:) Things are going well for us...the boys are growing like weeds! So here is the update......
ADAM - unfortunately due to huge state budget cuts got laid off from his sweet state job...his last day was 3/20 - he will be sorely missed at the facility and his co-workers through him a party and gave him some very generous gifts. He starts a new job at a detention center in Farmington on monday (3/30). We have loved having him home for a week but feel SO incredibly blessed that he was able to find a job so quickly - thanks so much for all your prayers in our behalf! He has also applied for summer semester at Weber to finish up his BS degree. He just got called to teach the 15 year old sunday school class.
ANGELA - is busy driving Adam crazy and chasing after 2 boys...nothing new:)
GABE - Is completely potty trained - he is such a sweetie...it was a peice of cake! He LOVES nursery...every morning he asks to go to nursery and to play with his new BFF (best friend forever:) Matthew, our upstairs neighbors have a little boy who is almost 2 and they love to play outside together. He is talking so much and LOVES to talk on the phone. He is LOVING playing with Kent ...ie trying to carry him, splashing him with water in the bathtub, etc. This is a great phase they both laugh so hard at each other and Kent crawls around and follows Gabe everywhere! Gabe is such a sweetheart and is learning to share and is so kind to those around him...he warms my heart every day - he is such a blessing!
KENT (er- bean) - KEnt is the happiest baby - Adam always says he got extra happy sprinkles before he came to earth. If you look at the kid he flashes you the BIGGEST smile and he loves to be tickled and has the most infectious little laugh. He is a very successful cruiser and can get into ANYTHING:) He loves to climb ontop of everything (especially your lap). He loves his big brother and puts up with a lot of love from Gabe. Kent still struggles with sleeping but that is ok - he will get there sooner or later. He is such a sweetheart and makes us all so happy!

Okay - I am at the public library posting and I feel completely out of touch without internet! Here is a brief update
* Adam LOVES his job and LOVES going to work!
* Gabe is still as adorable as ever..he is almost completely potty-trained and it has actually been super easy...he struggles with #2 and gets super freaked out:) He had a fabulous Christmas and has enjoyed building snowmen and throwing snowballs. He loves pizza but can't say pepperoni he calls them "pepper brownies"...so cute. He is in a 'big boy' bed and usually stays in it all night. He learns new words all the time and is so much fun.
* Kent has had a few more haircuts - the kid is a poof ball of hair - so cute. He is CONSTANTLY smiling ....I swear he is the happiest baby in all the world. He loves to snuggle which is great but mom has become his 'comfort blankie' we are working on that one - mom NEEDS her sleep:) He can sit by himself for a few seconds and is starting to get on all fours and lunge. He loves to eat - His favorites are sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, well actually he hasn't disliked anything he has tried!
* Angela is still the same - stay at home mama! Loving her adorable boys and husband
*FAMILY: We went to idaho for four days in december and enjoyed seeing everyone, We had a great Christmas at our own house and spent Christmas eve with my fam...we had a great time and laughed alot! We are all doing great and loving the recent warmer weather.

Sorry everyone - we STILL do not have internet and I am going crazy! We are all doing very well. We have had SO much fun in Utah - there is so much to do and we absolutley love our playdates with Lindsay and kids! Just a few updates....Kent is CONSTANTLY smiling and cooing - he is such a doll, he also got his first haircut - sniff, sniff (very difficult for mom). Gabe is SO excited for halloween and is growing like crazy, he also just recently discovered how to get out of his crib sniff, sniff again - no more naps! I guess he is really growing up and ready for a big boy bed! Adam is LOVING his job and is so good with the kids he works with. I am absolutely loving finding new and fun things to do every week so far we have done thanksgiving point (twice), gardner village, wheeler farm, temple square, SLC library, Gullivan center, Treehouse museum, Day farms pick -your own produce, and Antelope Island. So all you Utahers if you know of anything else fun to do with kiddos let me know:) Hope everyone is doing well! Hugs and kisses the Wilsons.

So.......Adam is currently living in Utah and absolutely LOVES his new job. He says he feels guilty getting paid because he truly enjoys what he is doing, we are just so happy that things are going so well! The boys and I are back in Idaho packing. I HATE packing and packing with a newborn and a two year old is just a joke! I am down to the last little bit and am just throwing random things into boxes - did I mention I HATE packing:) Anyway, we really liked the apartment in Roy but the commute was a bit longer than we hoped for so we found an adorable 3 bedroom apartment in Syracuse that is beyond perfect. We will all be moved and settled the beginning of next week if all goes as planned. I would post pics of the new apartment but I think and hope that I packed the camera because it is no where to be found....did I mention I HATE packing:) We feel so blessed for all the support and help we have received in this transition - we are so thankful for this amazing opportunity and new adventure for our little family!

Adam just got offered a great job in Utah working for the state in the Observation and Assessment center for Juvenile's as a counselor in Salt Lake City. We are super excited and proud of Adam! Only problem is we have not found a place to live and Adam is starting on the 8th of September - so all you Utah bloggers I am asking a HUGE favor....if you know of any 2 bedroom apartments at a reasonable price in the salt lake area (Provo to Ogden) let me know. I haven't had much luck on-line. Thanks and we can't wait to be a bit closer to some of our family and are sad to be leaving Adam's family but are so optimistic about this new adventure for our little family!

Celebrate Youth Festival

In Rexburg they throw a huge community party the day before school starts for the whole city...it is so much fun and everything is free:) They had a fish pond, ping-pong toss, face painting, cotton candy, climbing wall, etc. This is Gabe playing life-sized operation - he successfully got the 'adam's apple' (with a little help from mommy)
This is Gabe and daddy choosing the free books for the boys - all children receive a free book, Gabe got 'Big Brother, Little Brother' and Kent got a collection of Aesop's Fables.

I can't believe how much little Kent has changed in the short 7.5 weeks he has been here...but I swear he gets cuter every day!

Our Beautiful boys! Gabe LOVES to hold 'baby Kent' and is such a big helper - he is the official diaper getter/throw - awayer:)
Gabe loves to help mom cook - this is him 'helping' make his birthday cake for his Idaho birthday party!
Adam planned an awesome birthday party for Gabe up in Idaho since he could not be there for his birthday while we in Utah. We had cake and ice cream and Adam got a bunch of fireworks - it was a really fun time! (the guy in the background is Musan - he is part of the Isreal dance team and he and Gabe became best buddies)
Lesson learned - do not leave a 2 year old unsupervised with water colors for even 1 minute!
Every year in Rexburg they have an international dance festival and Adam's parents are the host family for the Isreal dance team. This is a picture of the team holding Kent - they fell in love with him:)

Grandpa and Grandma B have been such lifesavers! They have been spoiling all of us and helping out since I went into labor with Kent!

Kent Mitchell Wilson was born June 22, 2008 at 9:29 pm. He weighed 9 lbs 7 oz and was 20.5 inches long! We are so happy he is a part of our family...he is such a sweet little boy and Gabe is such an awesome big brother!

I am so thankful to have such a great husband and father to our almost 2 kids! Gabe is such a lucky boy to have such a caring and patient daddy!

Adam has been a natural since day 1! This is still one of my favorite photos (this is Gabe - no new baby yet)- I don't think I have ever seen Adam so happy or excited....what a great daddy! We love you - thanks for all you do. Love, Ang, Gabe and baby brodder (still haven't decided on a name - yieks!)

So I am 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant and had my weekly checkup today. I told the doctor about the strong contractions I have been having every 10-15 minutes since last Friday and he said, "I am sure you are all ready to go then...I will strip your membranes and get the show on the road". I almost wet myself with excitement because it is so hard for me to get around and to wrangle Gabe with this huge belly. Anywho, he did my examination (fun stuff) and he was shocked because I am barely dialated to a 1! He decided to hook me up to the non-stress test machine to monitor my contractions and yep every 10 minutes and they rate the strength between a 1-10 and mine were around 8 which means painful but lucky me they aren't doing a darn thing! So, there it is my little rant:) On the bright side he said that they would induce me at 39 weeks being so I can't sleep through these contractions and I can't keep up with Gabe plus I have this wierd itchy thing because my liver and gallbladder are not working as they should. So, my official 39 week date is June 23rd so please pray that the doctor is kind enough to take care of business that exact day - this baby is cooked and this mama is ready to meet him:) PS - if anyone has any suggestions on how to get this labor started I am up for ANY suggestions....I heard eating pineapple works so on Wednesday I ate an entire 2 lb pineapple by myself but just ended up with heart burn:)

For those of you who don't know, Gabe's Grandpa Bartholomew is a master sunflower grower - he has been growing sunflowers since his first grandchild and the grandkids LOVE it! Since he is serving a mission he and grandma sent Gabe his own sunflowers to grow and a cute story about sunflowers. Gabe had a blast playing in the dirt and getting super messy. We are hoping there are at least some sprouts when Grandpa and grandma come to visit him and his new baby brother! Thanks so much Grandpa and Grandma!

Okay, so I normally have a strict policy of no pictures of the pregnant lady after 25 weeks:) But due to some encouragement and my own amazment at just how LARGE I have become I have decided to post a picture....don't mind the toilet in the background or our totally 70's wallpaper. (The shirt I am wearing is a man's extra-large and yep it is almost too small!)

Gabe and I participate in a weekly playgroup at the park....his new obsession is having a stick in each hand - he will NOT let go of, even when he is sliding down the slide or swinging on the swings. He is very particular about the size of the sticks also and tries to find two that match perfectly...he is so cute! I also thought it would be fun to post some 'Gabisms':

stick = kick

chocolate milk = maki milk

pretzel = metzel

baby brother = baby brodder

bath = scruba buba (ok so I am the one who started this one)

daddy = 'Ad' or 'Adam'

slides = ready, go!

Adam and I are having a difficult time deciding on a name for our new little guy. Basically the only name we have agreed on is Jadon Grant Wilson but I have had some people comment that Jadon sounds like a girl's name. Anyway, if anyone has any great ideas for a name or any comments on the one we have tentatively decided on - please let me know!!! Thanks for the help:)

Gabe is such a creative little guy.... he loves sidewalk chalk but has recently discovered if the sidewalk is wet it works alot better. We now put the sprinkler on the sidewalk and let him go to town - he loves it!

Our church doesn't start until 1:30 which gives us a lot of time to kill in the morning. We decided since the weather was nice to go and play by the Snake River. Adam and Gabe throwing rocks into the Snake River at 'Beaver-Dick' park (I know, a terrible name for a park but it is beautiful!)

OOPS! Gabe got a little carried away and threw himself along with a really big stick into the river, luckily he was a trooper and thought it was pretty cool to go shirtless and have soaking wet pants!

A perfect end to a perfect Sunday! We ended the day with a picnic at the park that is literaly like 10 yards from where we live (how lucky are we?).

I just thought I would let anyone who reads this blog know that it is snowing (again) in Rexburg! Yesterday it was 68 degrees and Gabe and I went to the park without coats on:) And today it is snowing - argh! It is supposed to continue to snow/be below freezing until Friday and then it will be 60 degrees. I was so excited to plant our garden/flowers but I am wondering when I will be able to do that. Sorry to vent - I am a happy person...I just need a little sunshine I think (but then I will probably complain about being too hot:)

Gabe was supposed to do a forward roll, but was not a big fan so he ended up just sliding into the 'pit' which he REALLY did not want to get out of:)
I enrolled Gabe in a mommy and me gymnastics class - he absolutely LOVES it! It is a really good work out for mom too (I had to get into the 'pit' of foam squares too, quiet interesting since I am 8 months pregnant:)

Yeah for spring!

We were finally able to go to the park - it was a balmy 43 degrees! This is Gabe's little tricycle, unfortunately his feet still don't reach the pedals but he loves to be pushed around:) Also, our little guy is completely fearless - he loves going down the slides and keeps Adam and I on our toes because he doesn't wait for us to get to the bottom to catch him!

Easter eggs!

So, this is my first time blogging so I am hoping I don't make a fool of myself. Today we dipped...well painted Easter eggs. I opted for the speckle kit this year since last year dipping with Gabe made quite the large mess - this just caused colored fingers and the eggs turned out really cute. Anyway - expect lots more posts, this is fun for me:)
